Today, I went to visit Sealand's Farm on the outskirts of Bridgend.
I was joined by a group of farmers from across the region alongside NFU Cymru, to discuss their concerns and the challenges they are facing..
It was clear that Labour’s Sustainable Farming Scheme would have caused huge damage to our Welsh farming industry.
Any new scheme needs to recognise the massive impact our farms have on communities across Wales and need to ensure that is does not have a one size fits all approach.
I look forward to working with farmers across South Wales West, to ensure we've got a Farming Scheme that is fit for the future.
